Dark Chocolate Covered Pretzel Slims


Just in time for Valentine's day! My guilty pleasure is chocolate covered...anything. I wanted to make a "healthier" version of some of my favorites. I also wanted to take some of the stress off of making something sweet for your sweet. These are super easy to make and super quick!

Ingredients:

  • 1 packet of Pretzel Slims (plain)

  • 1 packet of Dove Dark Chocolate (or whatever kind you prefer)

  • 1/2 Tablespoon of Coconut Oil (Optional)

  • 1/4 cup Shelled Pistachios

Directions:

Depending on how much you plan to make, in a small bowl fill about 1/3 of it with the dark chocolate and coconut oil. Microwave 25 seconds then stir, repeat until all the chocolate is melted.

Place some parchment paper on a cooking tray (this will help with the chocolate sticking). Then take each pretzel slim and dip halfway into the chocolate. Then place on cooking tray. Once you have finished dipping as many pretzels as desired, place pistachios in a zip lock bag and smash (I used a garlic smasher) Then sprinkle on top of the melted chocolate. Refrigerate for 30 minutes. Then serve :)
